Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion, Chinese Academy of Science (GIEC) is devoted into the R&D of new energy and renewable energy from biomass, solar power, ocean energy, natural gas hydrate etc. Topics in energy conservation, environmental protection technologies and energy strategy research have gained more attention in recent years.
